Car history: |
Bought car in 2018 consigned through F40 Motorsports in Portland CT. Power brakes, but no power steering. Car easily turns with the large steering wheel. Transmission is original 3 speed manual, one of only 326 cars produced that had this transmission in 1968. Rear leaf spring is a fiber spring and rides great. Removable Vinyl covered hard top and it has a like new black soft top that was replaced about 13 years ago. Interior is black vinyl with original dash, center console and seats. Most interior besides some minor components and the back rug are original. The tachometer is not currently working and needs a new distributor drive shaft gear next time the timing is adjusted. Clock does not work, but the rest of the dials are working. Birdcage and frame has no evidence of rust. |
